A few years before she died, my grandmother June sent me an envelope full of letters documenting over a decade of correspondence between herself and her sister Mamie.
This project is an attempt to capture the artistic spirit of my great-aunt, Mamie D. Davis, beloved aunt, sister, and veteran of the United States Navy. Mamie lived a long life with her partner Jewel in a modest Nashville home in the area known as Green Hills.
